Farewell the "Clean Air Bus" Scheme

Tuesday 16 January 2007: "Clean Air Bus" scheme was introduced since 1994 specially for the CNG bus in the era of BC Transit Vancouver Regional Transit System, sponsored by BC-21 Campaign. The color of first generation of Clean Air Bus is Dark Blue skirt, light Green, white and light blue on the roof; the first bus received this scheme is 1989 MCI Classic - 9401 (It had been re-numbered as 4184 since 1995-1996)~~ The first batch of 25 CNG buses (New Flyer C40, these buses had been converted to diesel buses already and received Translink's "Sweep" scheme) was arrived around 1995-1996, but the light blue roof was omitted already~~ At the end of 1998, BC Transit Vancouver Regional Transit System was received 25 New Flyer C40LFs, the "Clean Air Bus" decal was located on the top of the windows~~ However, Vancouver Translink is processing the refurbishing on their C40LF fleet, and they received standard Translink's "Sweep" scheme, so far "Clean Air Bus" scheme will be gone in the future~~
